Improved delivery times: by implementing preventive measures, Staka has been able to ensure continuity. The changes to the way of working did mean reduced staffing levels, which meant lower production capacity and longer delivery times.

We are pleased to be able to inform you that staffing levels have now improved. In spite of delivery times still being slightly longer than you would ordinarily expect from us, production capacity has increased and we are working hard to further improve delivery times.

Orders: it goes without saying that there have been no changes to the ordering process and you can continue to place orders via the usual route. You will be informed of the current delivery time with your order confirmation.

Contact by phone: due to reduced availability by telephone, we would like to reiterate that non-urgent queries should, wherever possible, be directed to your contact person or to uksales@staka.com.

16/03/2020: Corona update no. 2

We have previously informed you of the measures taken by Staka to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In addition to measures such as encouraging office staff to work from home, we have introduced staggered working hours and breaks for our production staff.

Longer delivery times: staying at home as a preventive measure now results in lower staffing levels, which means that we currently have reduced production capacity.

As a result, we currently have longer delivery times than you are used to. We ask for your understanding in this matter. Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to deliver your order as quickly as possible. 

Delivery delays for current orders: there may also be a delay in the delivery time for your current order. We will do all we can to minimize this delay. If you have a project with a crucial delivery date, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

Contact by phone: we also have lower staffing levels in our office which means that it may be less easy to contact us by phone. We kindly ask that you send any non-urgent queries by e-mail to your contact person or to uksales@staka.com. This will also enable our staff members currently working from home to respond to your queries.

 

10/03/2020: Corona update no. 1

We would like to inform you about the measures Staka has taken with regard to the coronavirus.

Staka has followed the guidelines of the National Institute for Public Health and Environmental Protection (RIVM) and has taken measures within the company to prevent contamination.

Staka wants to limit the risk for our employees, clients, and suppliers to a minimum while still continuing to guarantee the continuity of our business operations. 

Staka will therefore implement several additional measures with immediate effect:

  • Staka will not be present at the Aqua Netherlands Exhibition this year, which will take place on 17, 18, and 19 March in the Evenementenhal in Gorinchem.
  • Our employees will not make any customer visits for the time being. Where possible, existing visiting appointments will be changed to telephone appointments. If this applies to you, your contact person at Staka will contact you about this.
  • For the time being, Staka will also not receive any visits from clients and suppliers at its location. The delivery of goods will, however, be continued in the normal manner.
  • Staggered working hours will be introduced for our production staff. They will also take their breaks according to a rotation schedule in order to limit mutual contact and thus the risk of possible contamination as much as possible.
  • Our office staff will, where possible and according to a rotation schedule, work at home as much as possible. This may cause us to be temporarily less accessible by telephone. We hope for your understanding. 

The above measures have been implemented preventively by Staka. There is no known coronavirus infection within our company.
