Can I fit my own lock cylinder in the closure?

Customers who want to include the roof access hatch closure in the lock plan for the entire property often ask us: Can we fit our own lock cylinder in the closure?

The answer is simple: Yes, you can.

The roof access hatch is pre-fitted with a half euro profile cylinder with three keys. The cylinder in the two-point closure can be easily replaced by a different half euro profile cylinder or half knob cylinder. The cylinder has a total length of 40 mm, and the screw hole is located 30 mm from the front face. To function correctly, the cylinder cam must be at three o'clock or nine o'clock.
